bring extra balls if you r loose with the driver. fun layout but a little tough. when greens r fast they r unfair but have been slower lately

Challenging course with difficult greens, and occassionally tight fairways; just compare the slope rating to other courses. A must play if you're in the Greensboro/Burlington area.

Chalet Hills Golf Club
"Challenging but Fair"
If you play the course right you will have to use every club in your bag. Variety of holes, no two are alike. Trees, bunkers, water, doglegs and hills, this course has it all. Beginners with a wild driver will have some trouble but will not have to hit over obstacles except for two greens surrounded by water. Staff is great and course is getting in better shape each year.

"Neatest course in Texas"
I went and played a round of golf at the Hilltop Country Club last week for the first time. It was an expereince,the course is set up real cool. I was a high school golfer who would have loved to get out of school and walk to go play golf rather than riding 30 minutes on a bus to and from practice everyday. The course is on the grounds of Troup ISD.And after I got finished playing golf I walked to the 19th and had a cold budlight.The bar has what ever you want,and the ladies were so nice.

"New golfer playing late afternoon"
Have played over 15 times in last two months. Newer player and have had a great time playing. The staff is the best.......... I play after 3:00 pm Jan-Mar. Iron only driving range and good putting green. I have been able to build up for my handycap.
