Very Good Public Course, Jul 01, 2005
reviewer: Ron Fox from Racine, WI
One of the best public courses in the area. Ives has very nice fairways, well placed and groomed bunkers, & plenty of water. The greens are in good shape. The course is pretty wide open on most holes, but the deeper rough and length of the course make it challenging. The facilities are very nice too; you can get a good tasting (and inexpensive) breakfast, there is a large practice green , a chipping green with with plenty of room, and long driving range. The landscaping of the entire complex rivals that of private clubs. Overall a very good course. P.S. They save every other tee time on the weekends so that early risers can stop in and book a time for that day. This is a great feature.
