This traditional course was built on land that was formerly a rice plantation, and the course earned its name from the 250-year-old oaks that dot the fairways. Water hazards come into play on four holes. The course winds through forested hills, and massive oak trees have been placed frequently between the tees and greens. The greens are medium-sized and have some undulation. The signature hole is #10, a 372-yard, par 4, requiring a shot over a wetland area to an elevated green.

I visited my father, from N.Y. and brought him out for a round of golf, for Christmas. We had a great time. The staff is helpful, and very knowledgeable. This course is all around a great course for all Golfers.

this is a great course. It has a lot of tough shots that require "target" golf. The gators are big and don't mess with them. The water oin this course is plentiful and tough to get around.

I think that that this was the best course because I never had trouble with the greens. Also, the management is perfect.

"Good course for the money."
Played this course a couple of times last visit to area. Was always use to paying $70 plus at other courses. Was surprised and enjoyed this course. It just goes to show that you don't have to spend big bucks to enjoy a round of golf. Will be playing this course again when I come down this spring.

VERY NICE COURSE FOR THE $$.THE GREENS ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.SOME FAIRWAYS ARE TIGHT AND TREE LINED.THE COURSE IS MORE DIFFICULT THAN THE RATING OF 113(MORE LIKE A 125 TO 127 FROM THE BACK TEES).IT CAN USE A FEW MORE SAND TRAPS,BUT THERE ARE ENOUGH TREES AND WATER TO KEEP YOU HONEST.

Arrowhead Golf Course
"Good Course at a fair price,"
The course is decent in upkeep, not the greatest greens but a nice and challenging course at times with greens protected by bunkers in touch positions. Course management is a little on the off side, they have no control over how many are on the course, and will load it up way past capacity, as well as never using any marshalling to speed up play. Weekdays are good times to play because of the lessened Traffic

Beaver Island State Park Golf Course

I have played beaver island several times - i find the many water hazards challenging and at the same time the course has lenient, wide fairways. If they offer a membership, i'll definitely consider crossing the border to play on a weekly basis. How about U E ?
