This course has tall oak and pine trees lining most of the fairways. The small greens are undulating and a few of them are well bunkered. The fairways were built on flat terrain and play straightaway. The signature hole is #14, a 127-yard, par 3, requiring a straight shot to a well-bunkered green. The finishing hole, a 182-yard, par 3, requires a tee shot over water to the green. There are water hazards that come into play at least three times.

Pocalla springs is a good golf course and they is very good about the money because its the cheapest one in town and if I spend my money thats where I would spend it. The service is very good since Ryan left and J.J. Took over.

Good golf course, but bad service., May 24, 2004
reviewer: Jackie Baker from Sumter, SC
This course is fun to play and very forgiving. Hole 14 is a very difficult par 3 and hole 18 over the water to the green is beautiful. The greens are ok but slow. The service on the hand is another story. I've had more bad experiences with staff and members of this club than anywhere else in town. In Sumter, Beech Creek and Lakewood Links are the only places to play. I'd gladly pay a few bucks more and be treated like a gentleman.
