Great 27 hole layout, Apr 02, 2004

Nice course layout with alot of left and right doglegs that dont block you out if you can't fade or draw the ball. Greens and fairways are very nice. Nice rural setting.

Sunny Hills offers the best value for the quality of golf available. The course is located in a rural setting, no houses or condos encroaching on the course. The greens are some of the best in the panhandle of Florida, always immaculate. The fairways are equally impressive. A must play.

Hilltop Country Club
"Neatest course in Texas"
I went and played a round of golf at the Hilltop Country Club last week for the first time. It was an expereince,the course is set up real cool. I was a high school golfer who would have loved to get out of school and walk to go play golf rather than riding 30 minutes on a bus to and from practice everyday. The course is on the grounds of Troup ISD.And after I got finished playing golf I walked to the 19th and had a cold budlight.The bar has what ever you want,and the ladies were so nice.

Triggs Memorial Golf Course
"Donald Ross Design at Public Rates"
Triggs is a good course, a tough layout from the back tees. Donald Ross designed Muni gets a lot of play and is a little rough around the edges, but a great test of golf. Played there for years before I relocated South.

I played Pine Hill which is one mile away and I actually thought Pine Hill was better. It's all about money and power at Pine Valley which allows them to get the #1 rating every year

Great course. Great shape. The only problem is the people you may play with. Every now and than you get the stuck-up Hampton type. If you can tune that kind of stuff out you will have a great time. My advice would be to play from the tips.
