A very bad experience..., Mar 31, 2005

The course is an average muni course and the staff is impolite and inexperienced... My friend and I played early back "10" in the morning with the intermittent rain. We had to stop, wait and play few times beccause of the shower. When we started to tee off at at hole 14, a guy from the proshop came to us and questioned us why we played so slow. There was no any player in front/back of us at least 2 holes because only very few people played in the rain. He told us that we must start to play from hole 3 so we spent more time than it should be. We didn't start at hole 3 and we were delayed by the shower. He didn't believe what we said and warned us that he will watch and follow us play next time. Definitely he made us feel uncomfortable and ruined our game. A very bad experience.

pretty nice course, Mar 30, 2005

This is a pretty nice course during the spring and winter and fall, but during the summer it dries up and isn't very fun to play. It is fairly well designed, and I play there fairly often. If you live in the area and don't mind driving a bit, I'd recommend Eagle Ridge in Gilroy: http://www.eagleridgegc.com/ It's always in wonderful condition, and is spectacular in its design.
