This scenic links-style course is one of the most beautiful and diversified courses that you can find. The fairways have generous landing areas, and the large greens are undulating. There are marshes and lakes that come into play on fifteen holes. The course was built on rolling hills, so carts are mandatory. This course has two signature holes. One is hole #13, a 330-yard, par 4, featuring a lake that skirts the entire right side of the fairway, and requiring an approach shot to a wickedly undulating green resting against an oyster shell wall that rises out of the lake. The other signature hole is #17, a 165-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot from an oyster shell-walled tee box to an island green built on a mountain of shells. "Golf Digest" rated this course as the 2nd "Best Public Course" in the state for 1996, and 45th among the "Top 75 Public Courses" for 1990. Green fees are determined seasonally, please contact the pro shop for exact prices.

Oyster Bay is one of the finest golf courses, public or private, that I have ever played. Besides being a beautiful course, the staff is amazing and very helpful. Hole #17 is dangerously tough, but is beautiful. The course is not designed to destroy your confidence, yet it will challenge your skills on certain holes. Not much can be done to improve this course. I try to play it every time I am in the state.

The view of the golf course is magnificent and when you step on the greens, its like your playing in a whole different country. I gave Oyster Bay a 4/5 and I wouldnt give any less!

"Basic golf outing"
In Bullhead City, the wind usually blows hard. This course is short, albeit somewhat challenging, because of the conditions played in. The fairways are unremarkable, the greens putt mostly true, although is tough to read. Usually putt the straight line and on the hard side to get them in. You won't need driver too often. Better than a kick in the head, but not the best golf around. Good practice.

Edgmont is a good track and is usually is good shape This is especially true after hard winters when other courses in the area tend to have problems. The membership is great and you can find people willing to play every kind of game - from very competitive to very social. The costs (as far as a private course goes) are very reasonable. There are no assessments and no restaurant minimums.
