This desert-style course opened in January, 1997 and is part of the Del Webb Development plans, which will includes three additional courses that are set to open in the area in 1998. The golf course utilizes seven sets of tees allowing challenging golf play for individuals of all levels. When played from the back tees, golf play is very challenging, even to the most experienced of golfers. There are seventeen water hazards that come into play, making accuracy crucial. Sand bunkers are strategically placed throughout the golf course. The greens feature slight undulations and are relatively large in size.

"Cairo is where i spend my spring break!!"
Cairo country club offers 18 holes of challenging golf. employees at the club are as generous and courteous as they come. the tree lined fairways call for consistent accuracy off the tee and some strategically placed fairway bunkers make the tee shot a placement factor. bermuda green that are well manacured. my buddy adam schuster says "its good" and my other buddy adam scott says its "da shizzle" the course really flows together throughout the 18 holes and the practice range provides a great area for preparing for the beginning of a round or fine tuning the game.

kern river is a very nice course. my favorite hole is hole # 9 the par three i think it is about 175-180 yards. im only 13 and i hit over the green about 10-15 yards away from the clubhouse.anywase the golf course is really cool has alot of nice views.

I think that overall the course is nice. It could be so much better. Like if the fairways were bent grass and if you would take care of your creek edges and ponds. We would also like to send out all of our thanks to Darel Doss for making Hickory Hills a better place to be. Oh and by the way Wapahani, you just better watch out. We might have a suprise in confrence!
