This course's large greens are undulating and fast, so three putting is a common occurrence. Even though the fairways feature a lot of trees and sand bunkers, they still afford generous landing areas. Water hazards (ponds and creeks) come into play on at least five separate occasions.

| This is one my favorite courses in Micigan and I have played several of the resort and premium daily fee courses around the state. The course is a classic parkland championship course that will test every club and shot in the bag at some point in the round. At almost 6900 yards, this course challenges approach shots and putting with the fast sloping greens, while still offering mid to high shot values from the tee. Big hitters will love this course. With its layout and and twin holes, I would like to know the designer. My guess is Donald Ross. |
