This hilly course has mounds, sand bunkers and tree-lined fairways. The well-bunkered greens are medium-sized and undulating, and water hazards come into play on three holes. The signature hole is #5, a 395-yard, par 4, requiring shots past a pond on the left of the fairway to a green guarded by bunkers on the right.

Great older course, Feb 17, 2008

This is a great old course with an outer 9 and an inner 9. The greens are sloped and medium to fast. Fairways are lined with mature trees and you are required to hit the tee shots straight. Two holes require you to hit over water. The people are very friendly and the course is always in great shape. A very good bargin for the price.

A beautiful golf course. Challenging and great to walk. There are some holes that will test your accuracy and range. The clubhouse staff is friendly and helpful.

This course is a good course for the money. It is not that demandings and is always in pretty good shape. The club house is nice neat and staff is friendly

"Great Secret"
Who would think that such a great course would be in Whidbey. The course has some challeging holes as well as some scenery. For some of you big hitters it has a couple of holes that tempt you to go for it. I wouldn't if I were you. Looks can be deciving. If they don't get you the slope on the 18th green will. Stick it close. A great secret.

Shadow Hawk Golf Club
"Fall Visit"
Shadow Hawk is a beautiful venue. The course is hard to rate in the middle of winter when the trees are not in bloom and leafy. The fairways are open and more than fair. The greens are as challenging as they come. They are filled with undulations that make straight putts rare. The greens roll fair and pretty fast. The clubhouse is very classy and comfortable (in winter, nicer than the course itself). I would hope to play this course again in summer (heat and all) to see the beauty. It was still fun and challenging for this 15 handicap player,

Well designed course is kept in great condition. Greens are as good any you will find. If this was an 18 hole it would be one of the best in Massachusetts.
