Getting better, Aug 26, 2005
|Tecumseh (formerly Pointe East) has shown marked improvement since last year (2004). The current owners(?)- course superintendents have vastly improved the course, greens, and wet areas. The 2nd hole par 5 has been improved by the addition of rocks to border the pond so water doesn’t flood the fairway. The wet area on hole 7 has also been repaired. There were some brown patches put that is understandable given the unusually hot summer Syracuse has experienced. The course is a good course for beginners and presents more experienced players with a challenge to hit the small greens. It will be interesting to see if the superintendent adds any additional hazards to front some of the greens.|

|The course is laid out well using the natural topography. fairways were a little hard but good for roll. The greens were a bit inconsistent and showed wear. I liked the houses around the course it feels a bit like golfing in my backyard.|
