Great Golf And Views, May 23, 2005
reviewer: Charles Yorio from Oneonta, NY
This is a great course, in terms of golfing and scenery. The course is short (good for walkers) ,but the greens are tricky. The new par 5 seventh hole is much improved. This is the kind of course that the more you play it, the more fun it gets, knowing the quirks and hole locations.Love the 2nd green, but don't be long on your approach! My only criticism is the long walk from 7 green to 8 tee.

Every Shot Is Picture Perfect, Jul 23, 2004
reviewer: C. F. Rice from Sinking Spring, PA
I've been travelling to The Thompson House (Windham, NY) for over 25 years. Every weekly visit made - Colonial Country Club is our course of choice (2-3 times) for the week. It is the most enjoyable 9-hole course I have ever played. Every shot, whether good or bad, is accompanied by a gorgeous view. Although the yearly trips have diminished, each time I visit feels like I was "just there last week". Great place to golf - see you on the course!

I love the mountain views, Mar 04, 2004
reviewer: Eirik Leach from Tannersville, NY
While this is only a nine hole golf course, and is quite short, it is very interesting and picturesque. Well maintained, fantastic putting surfaces, nice fairways, and challenging rough. I highly reccomend a day in the mountains playing this very fun golf course. The staff and other golfers are a lot of fun, and add to the enjoyment of this hidden little gem.
