Although this is a short course, shot accuracy is still at a premium. In fact, former US Amateur champion Harvey Ward learned the game here. The greens are small, and the fairways are narrow and tree lined. Water hazards come into play on several occasions. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

|Played this golf course when in High school on Tarboro High golf team. 2nd oldest course in NC. Tuff firm, smal greens. Alot of them are turtle back making them even tougher to hit and play. Short but demanding approach shots to greens. Cant beat the golf course for the price. Must check out.|
