This club offers two regulation eighteen hole courses. The West Course is more hilly than the East Course and has tree-lined fairways that are extremely narrow. Water comes into play on the West Course on two holes. The East Course is similar in design, but the terrain is flat. Water comes into play on the East Course on five holes. Both courses have small greens that are medium speed. This is one of the many courses operated by the Country Clubs of America. A three-year, $1.6 million project was nearly completed in 1997. The changes, overseen by David Rainville and Ted Robinson, included repair on drainage problems, redesigning various tees, greens and bunkers, and widening some cart paths.

A Joke, May 25, 2007

I had played this course once before, hated it, but since it had been several years thought I'd give it another try. Hard to believe it could get worse but it did. Layout is crummy - too many fairways intersecting. People are yelling "Fore" constantly. This course was not constructed well and I think it will never get better unless they rip it all out and start over. A painful four and half hours of misery.

What a piece of junk. The course is crammed into a tiny portion of land not big enough for a 9-hole executive course. Good shots are penalized and only moderately bad shots kill your round. And to add insult to injury, there are about a million members, so count on a 5 1/2 hour round. I'd rather play Encino, Wilson or Rancho. Hell, I'd rather get a root canal!

"Great Course"
This course requires all the clubs in your bag yet does not require a 300 yard drive to play. Would recomment it to anyone for an enjoyable round of golf

Hillcrest Country Club
"Miniature Southern Hills"
Hillcrest is an old (built 1926), established, traditional golf course. Originally designed by Perry Maxwell (Southern Hills, Prairie Dunes, Colonial), it was updated in 1980 by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. The course features tree-lined fairways, lots of doglegs, and difficult small greens. It has hosted numerous USGA Qualifiers, an NCAA regional, numerous OGA state amateur events. While short in length, it plays longer because of the doglegs and elevation changes. Course record is 65 and is held by Justin Leonard and several others. This is an excellent golf course that you will want to play again.

Well maintained greens, good topography change tee to green, sloped and undulating fairways provide good challenge yet managable for weekend golfers. Reasonable rates.

"Love the Greens"
This course is back on the map. I use to play it a long time ago but was never in good condition. You should see it now. The new owners have begun work on the irrigation system, cart paths all the way around and over seeded the entire course. It is definiteley a must play for the value.
