This course was built in a scenic country setting with numerous panoramic views. The course has rolling terrain and undulating greens to test your putting skills. The fairways are fairly open with some strategically placed trees, which can alter your shots. Natural streams flow throughout the course and create ponds and hazards. The signature hole is #18, a 610-yard, par 5, which gives players a challenging finish to their round.

A challenging course with an emphasis on club selection - make sure you bring all of them. Also, they forgot to take some of the trees out of the fairway, which brings a new meaning to "fairway woods". The course was in excellent shape and the people in the pro shop were awesome.

Nice Course, nothing fancy, May 17, 2004
reviewer: Mike from Garden City, MI
If your in the Tawas area and looking for a cheap round of golf on a decent track, here's your place. The club house is nothing to write home about but the course is nice for the low dough money they charge. Nice easy dogleg left par 4 to start your day. Difficult par 5 second hole, very tough green. Water in front, drop off in back, ouch. Number 5 long par 4 that's fun, some water and one big tree can come into play. Easy green though. Number 6 is another tough green. Number 8 can be a round killer par 5. Avoid trees on tee shot and second shot, then water and trees hitting into the small green. The back nine is pretty stright foward until number 18. Crazy long par 5. You could hit a 250 yard drive from the back tees and still be short of the front tee box. Take a 6 on this one and feel good about it. Good course for the money.
