This course was built near a mountain. From some of the tee boxes, you can see picturesque views of the large lake and rocks that make up the surrounding terrain. This course has no water hazards in play, but the fairways are sparsely tree lined. Even though the terrain is fairly flat, there is some mounding that can cause uneven lies. There are sand bunkers in play on some holes, and four of the fairways are doglegs. The signature hole is #2, a 523-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg right fairway, then an approach shot to an average-sized green. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.

"Bing Maloney -- a decent public course"
Bing is a fairly easy course that is fairly easy to get on. There are a few holes that are semi-challenging, but not many. This course is fairly long and has lots of old trees boardering the fairways. Play the Blue tees for a more challenging round.

There is nothing better to do on a warm summer evening than playing a few holes down on the POYCC golf course. The course is always kept in the best condition with improvements always being made where ever possible. The course is easy enough for the casual golfer, but has a variety of challenges that make it fun and competive. The best aspect of the course is the great atmosphere and senic views of classic New England in Long Island Sound. After playing with friends, returning to the club house is a great experience.
