This course was built on level ground and has many trees that line the very tight fairways. A pond sits in front of the green on hole #2, a 305-yard, par 4, and a stream also comes into play on holes #7 and #8. The greens are small, flat, and elevated with very few bunkers. This course has a twilight rate starting at 4 PM, which includes a cart. There are additional sets of tees when playing an eighteen hole round.

This course needs to be better, May 12, 2005

I am currently a student in high school. I've played this course for regionals 3 years straight, and every year it got worse. My first year I liked the course because it was short, well kept, and the greens were ok. The next year it wasn't as good, but it still was ok. This year, the course was horrible. The greens had sand pits on them, the fairways were all torn up, and everything else was a mess. No one out of five schools had a decent score, except for someone from E.D. White, who miraculously shot a 76.

Distance is not a key, Good course management is needed here. If you find trouble deal with it or the course will eat you up. Remeber green usually are rolling.

9 holes..two sets of tees which gives you a different look on most holes. The course usually is in great shape with nice greens. Basic Golf - but at a premium cost. $36 round plus cart....a tad expensive for a 9 hole course.

bayou c.c. is the finest course i have played since leaving pebble beach. No doubt, it is the pebble beach of the south coast!

Great clubhouse with good food and drink. All servers and clubhouse personnel are the best. The golf course is very well manicured and maintained. The only complaint is the hilly nature of the terrain. The views are splendid especially in fall. Go and enjoy, great value for your dollar.

Mount Hood Golf Course
"Mount Hood is looking good."
I was surprised at how improved the conditions were at Mount Hood when I played it in the fall of 2003. There are new people running the place and I'd never believe it to be the same course I played a couple years back. One of the guys I played with was the teaching pro which made it fun and enjoyable to go around the course.

"Beautiful & Relaxing"
This golf course is one of the most beautiful and relaxing courses I have ever played on. The natural beauty of the area is emphasized. It is a challenging course that is very well manicured for such a small area of the province. I'd recommend AVCC to anyone.
