O.K. Golf Course, May 24, 2008
reviewer: Fore Golf from Rockland County, NY
The course was in good condition for a public course. Too many people playing from the blues when they should be playing from the reds. The price for this course is WAY to high and there was no beverage going around so I would say bring your own beverages.

Great Junior Golf Program Great Public Golf Course, Nov 22, 2006
reviewer: Eric from Old Tappan, NJ
Rotella is a very nice place to play golf. I brought my kids to the week long Junior Golf Camps and I played while they were at camp. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The Sonoma Grill was also a nice place to have lunch. With the exception of it being wet in few spots the golf course was in beautiful condition and the pace of play was under 4 hours which is rare at a municipall golf course. Would highly reccomend.

The signature hole is #11, a 604-yard, par 5, requiring an accurate approach shot to a well-bunkered green. -could not agree more, the 11th defines rotella, i have played it 3 times a year during Spring Valleys Varisty Schedule, and i must say it is the best kept golf course in Rockland, the greens are lightning and are better then some country clubs in Rockland. I highly recomend you play rotella it is worth every penny!

Very nice course, Jun 14, 2006

Very nice public course. This course is well maintained and very challenging. They tend to over book a bit - but that's to be expected from a municipal course.

A Hidden Gem, Mar 11, 2006
reviewer: John from Garnerville, NY
I am a regular at Rotella being a town resident I can play for $37 with a cart on the weekend and just $32 during the week. The staff is always friendly and the greens are the best in the county. If you haven't ever had the pleasure I highly reccomed this town owned course.

Great Course! Well maintained and well run..........., Sep 10, 2005
reviewer: Peter from Manhattan, NY
Enjoyed this sleeper of a course. Being a transplant from California to the metropolitan area I found it difficult to get a tee time at a golf courses for under a $100 bucks. Rotella was very enjoyable. I was able to get a tee time through the automated system, played in under 4 hours which is exceptional for a public municipal course, and enjoyed the restaurant as well. The greens were in perfect shape and the staff was very courteous. They also had a hole location sheet on the golf cart defining the hole location. I'd rate it 4 stars!

Close Proximity to City - Good Value, Jun 21, 2004
reviewer: Dave from New York City
I have played at many courses in the area, and Rotella meets my expectations on a regular basis. The course is in good shape, is challenging enough, and is only around 45 minutes from the city. I have been unable to find a better value or a reasonable course within the same distance from the city.
