This course has several sand bunkers that come into play and the fairways are fairly wide and tree lined. This course was built on hilly terrain so there will be some uneven lies. The greens are fairly small, sloped and generally fast.

Good Course for a cheap GreenFee, May 09, 2005

Raintree is a fun course to play, it offers a lot of different shots. Some holes are short, straight, and simple while others require an exact first and second shot. The course is always in playable condition. It is worth the drive from the South Side of Atlanta to play this course. If you are hitting the Driver straight you will have a lot of chances to score, you can stick to irons off the tee and still have the chance to score with a good mid/long iron shot.

North Park Golf Course
"Great Public Course"
You must take into consideration this is a course run and maintained by County government so it's maintenance is not what it should be. Aside from that it is a great course. It is long, very challenging, fairly wide open and hilly. It's also a very pretty course. You would be hard pressed to find any course in a comparable price range that is this nice with such a beautiful layout. This course gets a lot of play during the week from senior citizens ( they get yearly permits ) but on Friday thru Sunday it is not crowded.

"Great Learning Course"
A very fair, playable course. Gives the novice an opportunity to try their skills without extreme risk. It also will challenge the low handicap golfer with it's terrain and hazard placement. The par 5's are scattered on the course so as to challenge you at the most critical times. Holes 8 through 12 will leave you feeling as though you've run a marathon only to have very delicate par 3's ahead.
