This is a fairly challenging golf course with well-manicured greens and narrow fairways. There are water hazards that come into play on four holes. Gene Hamm redesigned this course in 1973.

| I must say that I've played golf courses all over the country. And while you'll find more famous, or longer, or more scenic venues.... I find none to be more enjoyable than walking this course. I grew up playing this course and have always found it to be a fair challenge for your golfing skills and shot making. There are three par fives on the couse and the longer hitters can reach two of them for a reasonable chance at eagle. Unlike most courses, the par threes on this track are not gimmies, especially number 15. This is a par three that can eat your cake. Its got length, a difficultly sloped green and a couple of well placed bunkers. The course has an interesting variety of straight away and dogleg par fours which will challenge your club selection and your ability to turn the ball right and left. In short, if you get the chance to play this one, do it! |
