Satisfy your itch for a round of golf., Mar 24, 2009

| The above reviews are both fairly accurate. Longview can be a nice round, but it has it's drawbacks as well. It is very affordable, but the layout isn't very challenging. It IS well manicured though. They have had some drainage issues on the back nine (particularly #10 fairway) but I hear they are about to do some renovations there. I have had problems with kids getting through the fence and playing in the sandtraps by #17 green on a couple of occasions. Usually though, it's a good easy round of golf in a convenient location. |

Golf is my life-, Jul 23, 2005

| Played on Sunday. This course was convenient, with scenic fairways that are nestled by woods, yet it's right in the heart of Timonium. Not to crowded to enjoy yourself in relaxing atmosphere with the sounds of a children's playground off in the distance.
Keeps you young at heart! Great golf, go often!

Rough and smelly, Jul 06, 2005

| Played on a sunday. Pace was slow. Too many muddy patches on the fairway. Could this be a new golf hazard? There was even an orange cone set up in the middle of one fairway! Very poorly maintained. You will notice many white posts with spinning metal fans along the course. The course was built on a land fill and these are for letting out the methane. P. U! Plus near the last couple of holes, there are houses and a playground right next to the green with screaming kids. Very annoying. Don't go here. |
