Hunter's Station Golf Course

This difficult course, which opened its back nine holes in 1997, has many strategically-placed sand bunkers throughout its design. Water hazards come into play on several holes as well. Numerous mature trees sparsely line the fairways, and most of the greens are well bunkered.

| My husband, I and another couple visit Hunter's Station at least 1 week-end each year and have been doing so for the past 5 years. We always stay in one of the condos and play golf all week-end. It is a blast! Every detail about this course is so addicting and exciting. It doesn't matter how many times we've played it - it's always a new adventure! And being able to stay on the course is fabulous - we wake up and make a full course breakfast before we head out - pack a lunch to take with us, and have steaks on the grill when we return to our "very comfortable" condo at the end of our round. Then it's off for another 9 after dinner. It's a PERFECT "affordable" vacation!! |

| Not only did I get to borrow clubs for free but the $14 per round went down to $10 when I explained that we don't use pacemaker buggies but WALK in Europe to play golf. I found about 12 balls per round too to boot. Absolutely fabulous golf - I made the trip from Oil City and played 3 times in a week - and the view and shot from the 7th is just impossible. The Allegheny River view impossibly beautiful and the damned tennis court sized green a way down below on a cliff edge - and I got it 3 times yipee!. Super golf and I recommend any golfer not to pass up on Hunters Station if in the region - but DO walk please. It isn't Arizona in Pennaland. |
