This narrow course has a wilderness atmosphere and the holes are close together. There are plenty of trees and water hazards that come into play on several holes. There are several dogleg fairways, and hole #4, a 538-yard, par 5, is a horseshoe shape. Some greens are elevated, but most are level.

Many improvements, clubhouse looks great - well managed facility. Much improved course, moderate difficulty in manuevering from hole to hole. Well maintained. Evident the owner takes pride in his investment.

"A Classic golf Course"
Bass Rocks in my opinion is an ideal kind of golf course. Every time you play is different. The winds off the ocean can be a help at times. However, other times it can play havoc with your game. The course forces you to play almost every kind of shot there is. From high flops to knock downs, it will test your game. The staff is second to none. Friendly and always willing to offer a tip or two that will help make your round more enjoyable. The members make you feel right at home. Like they have known you for years, even if you just met. In my personal opinion, every town should have a club like Bass Rocks.

Evergreen Country Club - Private Course
"A course unto yourself."
I have become a big fan of Evergreen's private course. From beginning to end, you feel like your the only person on the course. This course offers secluded fairways and some very challenging holes. While the 14th is the signature hole, the 7th offers a close second. With the big tree in the middle of the fairway before the bend. Making it a difficult hole to play. The course could stand a little over all care, it's still a blast to play.
