Course is wide open and not too challenging. Greens are not in great shape. Great for high handicappers. Staff was very nice and price is right.

The fairways are in good condition but the greens could use some fixing up. The greens are not too fast. The front nine is harder than the back nine. Some holes are for the above average player like #l6 a par 5 which is a very long hole with watr to the right and a blind tee shot and some holes for the below average golfer like #17 which is a very short par 3. The staff is very friendly. The price is pretty good.

Royal Oak is hidden gem. It offers more golf for less money than any other course in the area. This Dick Wilson designed track has elevation changes and terrain not found on many Florida courses. Sadly, it needs an influx of cash to add to its rating. The two biggest problems that I see are the lack of sand in the bunkers and the club house in need of renovation. You will find the course a great value and the staff congenial.
