This course is located next to Lake Shawnee. The lake comes into play on three holes. Additionally, there are many creeks coming into play on several other holes. The greens are fast and the fairways are narrow. There are several sand bunkers protecting the fairways and greens. The signature hole is #2, a 369-yard, par 4, which was built along Lake Shawnee and features a slight dogleg right fairway with a narrow path to the green.

Beautiful Course - challenging for all levels of play. Old timber around a lake, water, sand, hills, valleys, ravines, elevated tees and greens - overall a very fun course to play.

This is a very nice golf course. Hole #2 has to be one of the top holes in all of Kansas. This course is for golfer of all levels. It is a beautiful course and well worth the green fee.

This is a course that ranges from 140 yard par 3's to 625 yard par 5's. No matter how good you are you will never birdie No. 9. 625 yard par 5 that doglegs to the right. 375 yards to the dogleg right and then another 250 to the green. GOOD LUCK.

White Hawk Country Club
"Better than others around"
I have golfed at White Hawk for the past three summers and have found it to be a challenging three courses. With black being the hardest it is to the difficult level of a 5-10 handicap player. On average I should in the high 70's and find some days more challenging then others depending on pin placement. But if you are a golf with great accuracy then this course will be almost no match for you. For if you are able to stay in the farways even par is something insight. The course itself is taken care of very nicely and almost all of the employees are friendly. Overall it is my favorite course in the area.

Odyssey Golf Course
"Odyssey is a good course"
I REALLY like this course. It is pretty long (which suits my game well), and there are a lot of places you can get yourself in trouble. The greens are tough to speak of...as pin placement can make this course one of the most challenging in the area (pretty serious breaks), or just a nice Sunday afternoon hackin' with the boys (dead-flat) if greenskeepers are being generous. They have GPS in their golf carts, and charge reasonable fees. The course is very-well maintained, with water in play on a bunch of the holes. In my opinion, Odyssey is the best bang for your buck in the area.
