Nice course. Hilly with fast greens. I find them very easy to misread. Unforgiving fourth and fifth holes. Long back nine. Course could be kept in better condition.

Frear Park is a very nice muni golf course. The front nine is hilly with undulating greens, you don't want to be above the pin. The back nine was added later, a Robert Trent Jones design, is much more wide open and extremely user friendly. Long par threes are a trademark as are par 5's reachable in two for the longer hitters. The greens on the back nine are challenging as well. The back nine is an easy walk. The staff that work at the bar/restaurant are very cordial and friendly as are all the starters and pro shop staff. Try it, you'll like it...

Overall a nice course, could be kept in nicer shape. Fun holes but very hilly, nice views.
