This course opened its original nine holes in 1994, and the back nine in 1996. Its open fairways are rolling, medium-sized and well-bunkered. Water comes into play on seven holes. The large greens have medium to fast speed with lots of contour and taper. The signature hole is #17, a 466-yard, par 5.

Cedar Creek Golf Club
"A course of challenge and beauty"
If you are looking for a track that will provide you the challenges of all the natural elements of the game of golf, Cedar Creek will do that. With it's bunkers, woods, length, rolling greens, water hazzards and blind shots. I have played this course at least a dozen times and I cannot a remember a time where I felt like I was being pushed by a group behind me or that I had to push a group ahead of me. It is easy to get frustrated with the challenge of the course, but you can maintain a good rhythem because of the pace of play. This track is also affordable. I have played many of the courses in Aiken County including the private courses and I haven't found any difference in the quality of this course compared to the private clubs. The staff are also very friendly.

Mad Russian Golf & Country Club, The
"Great course for the money"
This course is always fun and challenging to play. The greens in the winter are somewhat bet up but the summer is an excellent time to play. There rates are very reasonable and we enjoy the course very much. The people are always nice and helpful there.
