This Sheraton resort has two outstanding eighteen hole courses and a nine hole regulation course. The courses are well maintained and look like an oasis of green against the earth tones of the surrounding desert and the majestic backdrop of the Santa Catalina Mountains. Locals consider the Sunrise and Sunset Courses as being comparable to country club courses. The Sunrise Course might be considered a bit more difficult due to two real difficult holes. The fairways are narrow, and the greens are elevated. The Nine Hole Course, the resort course, is the most difficult nine of the five. This course was built on the side of the mountain, resulting in many side-hill lies and difficult putts. The greens are severely undulating, and some blind shots are required in order to reach the elevated greens. There is a separate pro shop for the Nine Hole Course which you can reach by calling (520) 544-1770. The green fees listed are in effect from December 26 until March 31 for the public.

| Just played the Canada course at El Conquistadoe the week of March 1/07. In very good shape with fast greens. Great Clubhouse and the service was excellent. The course is very good but it plays through housing which is a disappointment. I dont think there is a hole with houses on it. If you can get a good deal play it. |
