This club has three nine hole courses that are played in three eighteen hole combinations. The original eighteen hole course was the Saddlebrooke/Tucson Course. The Catalina Course was built in 1994 and is a typical target course. The placement of your shots is very critical because the Catalina Course has the highest degree of slope. All three courses have narrow and tree-lined fairways, along with many out-of-bounds areas. There are only a few water hazards to contend with, but you'll still need to make accurate shots if you wish to score well. The greens on the Saddlebrooke/Tucson Course are tiered, and the Catalina Course has very undulating greens. The head pro's favorite hole is #18 on the Tucson Course. This 402-yard, par 4, requiring a blind tee shot over a valley to a fairway with trees and a creek on the right, then an approach shot to a well-bunkered green.

Sugar Isle Golf Country
"My teams home course is Sugar Isle"
I'm on the Tecumseh High School golf team and Sugar Isle is our home course, its one the of the best courses in the area. We play all kinds of courses around this area and from the experiences I've had i think its one of the best. Its fairways are usually in pretty good shape and the greens are always in great shape, its not the best course to play on right after a big rain though because of all the rolling hills it doesnt drain water too well. I'd say its a challenge for the intermediate player and on some days even the advanced.

Oglebay Resort - Palmer Course
"palmer rules"
I played the Palmer Course two summers ago with three good friends. It was a real experience. I lost a good amount of balls maybe because two years ago I was not that good.I plan on playing it again this summer when the checks start rolling in. It does cost a lot to play there but worth all the good times and good laughs.

Overland Park Golf Club - Westlinks/Northlinks Course
"Hell of a good course"
as a public course, this is an excellent course, particularly for the price. For residents, especially senior, you can't beat this. The course is a very good course, with interesting hole layouts. It is very well maintained. Facilities are good.
