This course offers enough variety of terrain to challenge the most experienced golfer. Numerous trees can alter you shots, and water hazards come into play on a few holes. The small greens are fast. The signature hole is #6, a 465-yard, par 5, featuring a scenic view that overlooks the entire course. The scorecard doesn't show handicaps for individual holes.

| This is a good course for a 9 hole public course. The fairways are a nice carpet of Bermuda grass, and the greens are nicely manicured. There are some challenging shots over water, but there is no sand to get you in trouble. One drawback, you cannot take your cart off the cart path, not even a 90 degree rule. |

| The Meadows is a laid back, somewhat forgiving golf course. The fairways are beautiful, the greens are semi-fast with very little slope. It is a family owned and opperated course. There is a lady that does the grass work,so you know it is done right, and often. This site said hole 6 was the signature hole.I have to disagree,I think hole 2 is the one.It is a 175 yard par 3 straight over the top of a water hazard.Hit to far your in a wooded area.Hit to soft and your swimming, has to be placed just right. They have golf cart rental but,I suggest using a pull behind and walking to truely get the feel of this wonderful 9 hole course. When your tired of the paying high prices to play on dead grass, mud holes, and busted cart paths,go visit the Meadows. You will become a regular. |
