This course is located on rolling hills between corn fields. The design consists of more than thirty-five acres of fairways, as well as nine ponds and a creek that come into play on fourteen holes. Although the fairways are primarily straight, most of the greens are undulating. The signature hole is #12, a 231-yard, par 3, featuring water on the right and left front of the green. The view is also very nice. Be sure to call ahead for current information regarding the twilight rates available. The 6093-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 74.1 and slope of 118. The 5,206-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 64.4 and slope of 101.

"Great course, nice atmosphere"
I haven't played here in a few years so I was very pleasently surprised to find the course in super shape. The layout is good with a few short par 4's and a few par 3's that require an acurate tee ball. The people were wonderful and our group is looking forward to our return trip this summer.

Amana Colonies Golf Course
"One of the best in Iowa"
Carved out of 300 acres of oak trees, 72 bunkers, and three lakes, this course is as beautiful as you will find in the State of Iowa. Carts with GPS Yardage are a must on this hilly terrain. You had best bring your "A" game with you, if you plan to score from the back tees. Only three of eighteen holes have scattered housing, so the natural setting is enhanced by frequent deer and wild turkey sightings. Once played, you will want to play it again.
