This club's championship eighteen hole course is very picturesque. The U.S. Senior Amateur Golf Challenge was held here in 1994, and "Golf Digest" has rated this as the 7th "Best in State" course for the years 1995 through 1998. Water hazards (lakes) come into play on ten holes. The fairways are narrow and tree lined, and the greens are undulating. The signature hole is #10, a 516-yard, par 5, requiring an approach shot to an island green.

| This is a great links layout with long and demanding tee shots. Rewarded for good shots but very punishing for bad shots. |

| The triple Crown Country Club golf course is one of the best golf courses I've had the pleasure to enjoy. Play is calm and relaxed. The course is majestic and the foreground beautiful. I recommend this course to any golfer who would like to experience one of Kentucky's finest. |
