This hilly course has somewhat open fairways, but they are tree lined. The greens are medium in size and speed. The signature hole is #3, a 427-yard, uphill par 4, requiring an approach shot over water to an elevated green. Robert Trent Jones redesigned the original course in 1940.

Wyckoff Country Club
"Quick eighteen"
This course is short, but what it may lack in length it makes up with difficulty along the course. Fast greens and sloping fairways provide players with challenges every time out. Throw in some wind and you are playing some real good golf if you can break eighty from the back tees on this Par 69 course. Fun course with good people in the Pro Shop make this course a great place to play.

Southmoore Golf Course
"Tough Day"
I played this course with my brother,(scratch) on a Saturday in September 2003. We found it easily, we paid and went thru the rather surly starter and we were off, there wasn't much of a wait on the first tee. The first couple of holes were standard, it was a rather breezy day so I was really challenged to keep my ball on our the fairway.(this would be my problem for most of the round). Nice elavation changes, and the course looked great compared to it's neighbor,(whitetail). Dogs and beer at the turn. The back nine was just as nice as the front. Immaculate greens with challenging pin positions. Afterwards it was a couple of more beers and burgers at the lounge. Good food. If we had more time we would have gone to their fine dining restaurant, got a glance at their menu, looked really nice. great sunset too! Overall a great day.

Cairo Country Club
"Cairo is where i spend my spring break!!"
Cairo country club offers 18 holes of challenging golf. employees at the club are as generous and courteous as they come. the tree lined fairways call for consistent accuracy off the tee and some strategically placed fairway bunkers make the tee shot a placement factor. bermuda green that are well manacured. my buddy adam schuster says "its good" and my other buddy adam scott says its "da shizzle" the course really flows together throughout the 18 holes and the practice range provides a great area for preparing for the beginning of a round or fine tuning the game.

Mount Hood Golf Course
"Mount Hood is looking good."
I was surprised at how improved the conditions were at Mount Hood when I played it in the fall of 2003. There are new people running the place and I'd never believe it to be the same course I played a couple years back. One of the guys I played with was the teaching pro which made it fun and enjoyable to go around the course.
