Set in the rolling foothills thirty-five miles east from the City of Stockton, this tight and hilly course challenges you with out-of-bounds stakes lining fourteen holes and water hazards coming into play on nine holes. The signature hole is #13, a 185-yard, par 3, which drops 100 feet from off the tee to an L-shaped green almost completely surrounded by water. Be ready to hit plenty of blind shots as well as approach shots from off sidehill lies. The layout is in excellent shape and affords outstanding vistas of the surrounding area on virtually every hole.

| This course is definitely worth my drive and the green fees is very reasonable. One of a kind and unique with lots of surprises. The signature hole is fabulous! Nestled around a beautiful community; its like touring the neighborhood and hitting shots at the same time. My friend and I enjoyed it so much that we played 27 holes. The back nine is definitely harder as your hitting shots in places where you don't see where your ball lands. You just have to trust your shots and abilities. Definitely a fun course but to those of you who hits shots all over the place, don't let it frustrate you but bring extra balls coz you will definitely lose some. If you plan of walking it, I hope you are in good shape as it will kick your a$$!
Again, definitely worth a visit at least one time in your golfing life. The staff at the pro shop are very friendly and accomodating though I was disappointed with the restaurant - lots of chairs and tables but no food. After 27 holes, we were very hungry and all they have was cold tuna sandwich. Other than that, I highly rate it. |
