this nine hole course has its challenges-- for one the terrain is usually hard, which makes it hard to get a good lie. the only par 5 is tough because the fairway is elevated and has trees( very mature trees) on both sides. only push carts on course. if you are looking for cheap golf ( only $10) its well worth it. ( if you don't slip and fall in the goose droppings)

Do you like playing golf but hate the snobbishness involved with it? Do you like playing various hazards like ungrown grass, standing water, and goose poo? Do you like playing for a song and a dance? Then Mink Lake is the place for you. A moderately challenging 9-hole course in Valparaiso, Mink Lake is the place to come for cheap golf for enjoyment of the game without having to worry about brokering that huge real estate deal that will finally let you add the GPS system to your Lincoln Navigator that you've needed. A great time for good people.

"Beautiful and challenging old-style course"
This a beautiful, scenic golf course which will challenge every golfer, regardless of handicap. The maturity of this course, which includes huge oak trees and large shade trees, gives the impression of walking in a park, with the added enjoyment of playing golf. Even though the length of the course is short by modern standards, that is where the challenge lies. Drives must be accurate, and pitch shots precise. The greens are deceptive and fast, and are well-bunkered. The clubhouse is very well-planned, with great views of the course from the men's lounge and dining room areas. The men's locker room has been remodeled, and I guarantee that Luis, the locker room chief, will never forget your name. He is a wonder. One golfing visit to this club will make you wish you could live in the area so that you could apply for membership -- it is a memorable golfing experience.

This course is probably one of the nicest ones I've ever played! - I MEAN IT!!! The greens were very well kept, the clubhouse was delightful, and my wife loved your fairways! I played here, once,-back in the 60's, but it was quite different then. (To be honest it looks allot smaller, and I don't remember there being any Homes so near the course?) We WILL be back, this summer!

this is a nice course not the most challenging but is a challenge lots of trees plenty of deep bunkers cheap only 22 dollars with cart 18 holes good walking course.
