This course has a countryside atmosphere and is picturesque. The course is flat and tree lined. The greens are large, fast, and well bunkered. Water comes into play on sixteen holes. The signature hole is #14, a 199-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over a natural reserve. It is a challenging course due to its length. This is the home course for many PGA and LPGA players. It is also a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. The course is open seven days a week during the winter months. Only members are permitted to walk the course. The 5,886-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 74.6 and a slope of 136.

Even though I haven't golfed RiverHills since it has become a private course - I think it is one of the best courses around in SW Tampa. As a resident that lives between holes 7 and 15 - I love the layout, the length and condition of the course.

I have played a total of 4 rounds as a guest at Silver Spring. This classic and traditional course is well-maintained with speedy greens that can have you on your knees in a hurry. Wonderful course to walk, even for those of us more inclined to ride. Beautiful woodland setting where deer seem to enjoy free range, even on the greens! (Hoof prints don't make for straight putts) Staff was courteous and friendly despite the blue blood atmosphere. Nice joint.

good course - great value. i cant believe how inexpensive this course is for how well it is maintained. even if youre not form the area, make sure you plan a round here at least once a year. great service. and ignore what this website says about 'closed on mondays', because its open.
