This course features small and fast greens, plus six bunkers incorporated into the course design. A large pond comes into play on holes #5 and #9. The signature hole is #5, a long 416-yard, par 4, which is lined with huge oak trees. The green fees shown are good for all-day play.

It's a flat one!, Aug 10, 2005 |

| This course is not your typical Iowa rolling hills type. It's a beutiful course though with a wonderful banquet facility should you need one. The spring and early summer winds will be a factor on this flat land course. The staff is as nice as the greens are fast. |

Windy Tara Hills, May 10, 2005 |

| This is a nice small-town course. The length of this course is average for a small community, but most days you'll have to factor in the wind. The surrounding terrain is fairly flat farmland. Hence, there is nothing to stop the wind. 3 sets of tees offers a chance to alter the way it plays when you go around the second time on this 9-hole course. It has a nice clubhouse with a large banquet room. They have a kitchen if you're hungry when you're completed, but be prepared to pay a little more than is typical for a rural Iowa golf course. |
