This is a good "pitch in putt" course for the entire family. There are some sand bunkers and many trees scattered throughout the course. The large greens are somewhat sloped and a little on the slow side. The terrain is hilly, so this is a good place to work on your wedge game.

Great for a quick 9 holes, Aug 27, 2009

This is the epitome of a neighborhood par 3. Condition is okay, not spectacular, but good enough for a quick 9 holes after work. Greens are usually pretty soft and spongey. This course also requires that you bring more than just a pitching wedge and putter. It has a couple of longer holes that you can still stick it on the green, but usually with a 7 or 8 iron. Great place just to relax. DONT FORGET THE MOSQUITO REPELLENT IN LATE SUMMER (Borders Salmon Creek).

The problem with this course is that the greens are not well taken care of. The fairways run adjacent to each other so you will frequently have to look out for golf balls flying towards your way by novice golfers.

I played this course in July 2004 after playing two other near by Plymouth courses. It was a great day of golf. The course is challenging but fair. The greens were in perfect shape and the fairs as well.

Plymouth Country Club is a difficult test of golf. It challengers a player's ability to make shots and keep the ball in the fairway. Heavily wooded areas on many holes can cause big numbers if you wander too far from the fairway. The front nine is where a player should try to get through around even par and then make some birdies on the back. The back nine consists of a number of risk reward holes and two very difficult holes in a row (15 and 16). Finish strong on the two par 5's (17 and 18) and you could have yourself a fine round of golf.

this course has ndergone a complete renovation in the last three years, including new greens and tee boxes, drainage and irrigation unpgrades and a beautiful club house. Not the same course I played five years ago, but still friendly and informal
