Good strong golf course, Nov 03, 2010

I played this course a few times while down in Venice. I must say it is rather hard depending on wind a pin placements. Narrow fairways, some blind shots, plenty of water that comes in an out of play, greens are fast with plenty of brake. Course gets crowded in the winter months but play is under 4 1/2 hours not bad for Fl. Greens fees are ok for winter months but can get expensive in March and April. Still a good value for a nice golf course, nice staff and clubhouse. I would recommend this course for sure.

Highland Springs Golf Course
"Great couse."
This course is a great example of Ozark Mountain terrain. Flawless greens, oceans of water, and large greenside and fairway bunkers make this golf course a 5 star course. The layout is a bit easier than your traditional 5 star PGA Tour Championship courses. The Nike/Buy.com/whatever its name is this year tour uses this course each year for one of its tournaments and the players always remark on quality maintenance.

A great north-west Ind. course. Just off of Rt. 41.Reasonably priced-senior discounts-early bird specials-as well as yearly membership rates.-Has a great practice range and putting area. Liberty Country Club
"Great Condition and Layout"
This course has a beautiful layout and hole construction. Similar to the old "country club" style courses, this smaller operation club gets the job done with what must be a low budget because the course is just in outstanding shape. The bent-grass fairways look good all year round and maintain their grass even in the hot summer afternoons of August. They also had great deals available for play during the week and for people wanting to have an outing. I'm definitely going to play at the Liberty Country Club again.
