| I don't know why others are bad mouthing this course. I have played it twice and I have enjoyed the course greatly. The people in the pro shop were extremely friendly and helpful. The players on the course were great sports and where not "stuck on themselves". The greens were a bit pitted but were very playable. The fairways were mowed and the rough was also. Over all, this is a well maintained golf course. You must remember that the course is semi-private and is not a closed course. The carts were well maintained and had plenty of power. I have played courses in Georgia, Alabama, Ohio, Texas, and Panama. I know this does not qualify me to rate courses but, as a mid-handicap golfer I enjoyed the course and the other golfers on the course. So, if you just want to have fun and play a round of golf (while enjoying it) PLAY AT LINCOLN TRAIL. It really is a good golf course. |

| Great place to play for the money! Nicer than anything that we have locally. The people that play there do tend to leave there divot marks on the greens which is frustrating, but over all for the money this is a great place. |

| This place is a dive. The pro is RUDE with a capital R and the old broad that runs the Thursday nite scramble... what a B#$%ch. Almost all of the greens are shaggy and have LOTS of clover growing in various spots. Basically unputtable. The fairways are even worse. If they do have a greenskeeper they need to fire him. Save your money and go play somewhere else. |

| This course is lacking any greenkeepers that know how to maintain a golf course. --- Rain water stands for days after it rains. You can see where previous cups had been for months and months on the greens. The fairways look like they've been used for a motorcycle race. --- No one replaces divots. And it appears that the members are too lazy to bend over and pick up their unbroken tees, they're everywhere. I picked over 23 good ones in one round of 18. --- I'll be spending my greens-fees someplace else. |
