| I think Arnold Palmer, NJ is a complete idiot. I have played Kresson over 30 times and it is a great course for what it is meant to be. A beginners course where you can go and learn the game without feeling like a total failure. My daughter and I have learned the game together on this course. Most times it is kept very well. They do not advertise themselves as a class A course and should not be judged as one. And Arnold Palmer, NJ, if you ONLY shot an 8 under at Kresson, perhaps you should take some golf lessons from my 13 year old daughter who routinely shoots 12 under there. |

| I play this course with non-golfers because it is an easy course. The greens are very slow, in good shape most of the time, but s-l-o-o-o-w. It would be a great place for a youngster to get introduced to the game. As far as being beautiful, forget it, as far as having to hit the ball straight, this one will make you do that. Not worth the money, easy to walk. |

| This course is what it is. Some of us are not everyday golfers and this is the perfect course for us to hack away. I like it. I have been playing here a long time. So it is not Pebble Beach. The holes are easy and if you can master this course, just think how much better you will be on a pristine one. |

| This course is an abomination to golfers around the world. I could do a better job with my own lawn mower in my back yard. When I stepped into the sand trap it felt like I was standing on concrete, the greens were like the carpet in my living room and the fairway like an old dirt road. Although I felt good about myself when I shot an 8 under par.... maybe I am just to picky |

lumpy and rough, Oct 14, 2008 |

| This is the only golf course i have ever played where the cost of the cart is more than the green's fee, $26 for a cart rental is outrageous considering the poor quality and condition of this course. Additionally the fairways are really the rough and the greens are full of lumps and bare spots on most of the greens making it impossible for a well struck putt to hold the line or the break. Do not recommend this course at all. There are much nicer and well kept courses for the same fees or even less. |

| Inexpensive is the best that can be said. Negatives: 1. overcrowded 2. TERRIBLE course maintanance 3. invisible and clueless ranger 4. filthy men's room (can't call it a lockeroom) Greens are hard because they are packed down dirt, some have vegeatation but I would not call it grass. Stay away, far away |

Is nothing sacred?, Jul 09, 2008 |

| I went to the first tee box and asked the starter if it was OK if I tee'd off. He was wearing a wife-beater, shorts and a hat made from newspaper, smoking a pipe and sitting in a lounge chair while looking at a copy of 'Juggs' magazine. He lowered the magazine and uttered something like, "I don't give a damn what ya do and if ya bother me again I'll kick ya off my f**kin' course!!" So the round started off well as you can see. Not only that, I started getting harassed by the ranger. At the fourth hole, he told me to, "...step it up!! You're holding up the whole she-bang!!" When I pointed out to him that there was no one in front of me or behind me, he mumbled something about having to,"...get home in time to see his shows". Mind you, it was 1:00 in the afternoon. What shows did he have to go see? "Petticoat Junction"? The final straw was coming up the finishing hole. The starter and the ranger were taking turns flogging a stray they'd found. While one was hitting it, the other would be screaming,"That's not how ya do it, give ME the stick!!". So needless to say, I'll be going back real soon. |
