This links-style course features slightly-elevated greens. The terrain is rolling, and water comes into play on almost half the holes. The back nine begins with a 451-yard, par 4, which features a dogleg left fairway with water sitting behind the green. Another tough hole on the back side is #15, a 541-yard, par 5, with a fairway that veers around a lake the last 100 yards, requiring golfers to carry the water if they want to hit the green in two.

| New phone #(254)745-6009, in case anyone comes here anymore? Theres alot of amateur/league play at Cottonwood, I think the Nationwide comes here too? Difficult course, better not bring your hacker/beer drinking buddies! It has a fair amount of wide open holes, but look!out they dont last long! The holes on the outside edges of the course are the real challenges, playing tight and rolling. The whole course is rolling, you'll never have a flat lie. The course itself is kept in great shape year round, greens tend to be on the faster side, and bring dramamine if you get motion sickness! |
