This very scenic course overlooks Lake Waco. The signature hole is #1, a 419-yard, par 4, which was built on the side of a large hill and offers a beautiful view of the lake. This club hosted the 1994 men�s Southwest Conference tournament. Ralph Plummer redesigned this course in 1962.

As a member we love to have golfers visit our great course. We have moved the tees to provide a more challenging golf course for longer hitters, but still have enough "play" for the weekend golfers. I truely hope you will be able to visit this top notch central Texas golf facility.

Loved this course. Nice enough where President Bush comes and plays when he's in Crawford.

Chief at Sky Lodge Golf Course, The
"Bring it on!"
The Chief is perhaps the most challenging course I have played in northern Michigan. While it is a toughy, especially from the tips, it brings out a carnal instinct in me to play it again because I know that with my new knowledge I can improve my score. The course was in great shape with its bent tees, greens and fairways nicely manicured. The pro indicated that they just lowered the length of the rough, which made a great improvement. Service was also great in the shop. Leave your driver at home and have some fun.

"It's the people"
I love this golf course. I play in a tournament here every year. I always think I'm going to do better but it has these challenges that change my swing. You will find yourself protecting against going out of bounds, water hazards, sand, trees...they have it all. The number 9 eats me up. It's a dogleg right and if you can manage to stay away from the small canyon on the right you still have the challenge getting on the green that you better save an extra stroke for! Be careful if you go over this green....nothing but trouble. The main thing about this course is the people. They treat you like you were the only one playing that day. You will love the scenery also.
