Very nice experience, Nov 25, 2004

November of 2003 I played three times. Cost per round was $26USD including gas cart. If you are alone as I was, just arrive early in the morning and check-in. You are playing within a half-hour. Friendly people, challenging course, decent rate and IT'S HAWAII!!! Restaurant on site, park and beach nearby. There are always little things to complain about but they are negligible. Enjoyed myself, met nice people.

Ferncroft Country Club - Championship Course

I've placed hundreds of courses in this country and Ferncroft for a resort club is one of the better places to play! For a private resort the cost of greens fees are perhaps a bit expensive, but you have to willling to pay to play one of the better well run courses in the area! The Bent grass on the fairways and greens are always well maintained. The layout is challenging for a course of just over 6,600 yards from the tips. They've just rebuilt the 3rd Green and 4th Tee. From time to time depending on the season they may have some standing water issues. From what I've been told by the Director of Golf they are taking care of this in the near future with a new irrigation system.

Sky Mountain Golf Course
"WOW"
Sky mountain is truely one of the most senic golf courses I have ever played. The view off of the #1 tee box is breathtaking. The grounds crew has done an excellent job in maintaining the course. It is a very good place to golf.

Sweetbriar Golf & Pro Shop - Third/First Course

This is an excellent golf course for beginners and seasoned golfers. The original 18 holes play somewhat easier than the new Legacy 9. The legacy nine is very well kept and is challenging. The price is great for the value you will undoubtedly find!
