Is this what you call a golf course?, Apr 12, 2005

This course is like a practice course. It doesn't get the excitement of the golfer because of the way it looks of make you feel. It just seems like a place to play golf as that. Some places make you feel special and proud that you can play on a course like that, but this one no.

Fairways are hard and dry and some fairways are spotted with patches of dirt where the grass has died off. Seems like the maintenance crew only care for the greens, but they are average at best. If you want to play golf at the last minute and don't mind the less than average conditions then Makalena provides easy to get tee times for the casual golfer.
