greens need help, Aug 18, 2006

Fairways and tees are in great shape, but many greens are pocked with dirt spots and bumpy from aeration holes not backfilled with sand. The hard surface makes them incredibly fast. Iron shots bounce off them. Maybe they will recover them this winter.
