This course has well-manicured greens and fairways. The greens are small and difficult to read. There is a creek that comes into play on eight holes. On hole #16, a 396-yard, par 4, the creek crosses just in front of the well-bunkered green. Frank James designed the back nine, which was added in 1947, Robert Muir Graves redesigned the entire course in 1980, and John Steidel redesigned five holes in 1987. Each of the tees are rated for both men and ladies.

| Challenging long and short holes. Greens are in exceptional shape with frequent changes of pin placement to afford different approaches and challenging reevaluations each time you play. The course roughs are excellent motivation to keep your ball in the fairway but even beginners can struggle back from the roughs without too much damage. The membership is exceptionally consciencious about sanding and seeding divots and repairing ball marks on the greens. The 19th hole and restaurant are welcoming and provide an exceptional quality. The course affords challening play whether you are a struggling beginner or experienced long ball hitter! Play on!! |
