This is a challenging course where the front nine is wide open and the back nine becomes more difficult with tight dogleg fairways. There are several ponds that come into play and the greens are fairly large. Only members and their guests can play the course. Guests are allowed by member invitation only/

| Ok, well, you cannot deny that this course is well kept and is in very good all around shape. The greens are good, fairways short, and well-managed all around. But, it is quite possibly the most boring course ever. The greens are all the same size, and they do, as most people say, all slope back to front, thus killing a birdie chance from behind the pin. Also, every hole doglegs, and there is nothing spectacular distance wise either. So, despite great condition, this course was extremely boring. |

| A nice but not great golf course. Its biggest asset is it fine condition. Not much creativity in evidence. All the par threes are on the long side. Excessive number of dogleg holes (six on the front nine and four on the back). The length of the par threes and the large number of doglegs cause this to be a slow-playing course. The greens are very fast maminly because they tilt dramaticaly from back to front. They don't undulate, just tilt. You want to be a lot short rather than a little long. The rough, although not long, is quite gnarly and punishing. Need to be in the fairway. It's a good members' course. |

Home Course, May 21, 2004 |

| This is my home course. It's a nice track with very different nines. The front is wide open with water coming into play on #3,6 and 8. The ninth is an intereting dogleg right. Its generally better not to hit driver unless you can get it over the large, overhanging trees (which can be done, but if it's miss hit you won't be finding that ball!) The back nine is like playing a different course. There is no water, but instead, plenty of woods. Many of the holes (#10, 12, 14, 15) are doglegs. This nine is my favorite, but does require some knowledge of the course to put yourself in good playing position. |
