This course was built at an elevation of 3,000 feet, resulting in some great views. Water hazards come into play on six holes, and there are many sand bunkers spread throughout the course. The large greens are fast and slightly sloped. The signature hole is #5, a 175-yard, par 3, which features a small green guarded in front by a sand bunker with an oak tree in it. This hole can play anywhere from 100 to 200 yards. This club hosts California State Amateur qualifying rounds each year in May.
