This course features narrow, tree-lined fairways on every hole. Water hazards (streams and man-made lakes) come into play on five holes. The most difficult hole is #10, a 438-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot up a slight dogleg left fairway, then an uphill approach shot to a well-bunkered green. Reciprocal players must have their own head pro call this club's head pro in order to arrange a tee time. William Newcomb redesigned this course in the 1970's.

I have family that are members, every time i visit, the course is always in fantastic condition. You can really tell the course was built in 1912 with it's tight fairways and shallow, but very difficult, bunkers. Clubhouse is very roomy and the staff knows everyone by name which adds to the very freindly atmosphere. Fantastic golfing experience.

Vista Valencia Golf Course - Executive Course
"Short crowded course no joy to play"
Vista Valencia is a golf course that survives because it is one of the few places to play in the highly populated Santa Clarita Valley. This is a classic American Golf type of club. Short on amenities and long on wait, wait, wait. The goal here is to get as many people on the course that ensures the day's sales. Some very short tricked up par three's, par four's are somewhat better #1, #7, #10, and #18 are decent. It is hard to keep this course in great shape and the practice facilities are always crowded. Play somewhere else if you have a chance in So. Cal rather than here. Rounds can be up to five hours long on this executive course.
